RAG: How our help powers AI
Hex answers many user questions by using Actualog Help content.
When you ask a question, Actualog searches relevant Help topics and uses them to prepare a grounded answer. This approach helps Hex stay close to Actualog terminology, pages, and workflows.
A Hex answer may include:
- What this means — a short explanation;
- Read — related Help topics;
- Open page — links to Actualog pages related to the question;
- Let Hex do it — an action offer when a supported action is available.
This means Help content is important not only for users who read Help pages directly. It also improves AI answers.
To get better AI guidance:
- keep Help topics clear and up to date;
- use the same terminology as the Actualog interface;
- write Help topics around real user tasks;
- avoid vague text that does not explain what the user should do.
If Hex cannot find enough relevant Help content, it may ask a clarification question instead of guessing.
